If We Have a Heart

If we have a heart, then it is made of the love we shear with people. Condemned by time, condemned to death. If we have a mind, we can leave on our own and on our instinct and we will get it right. We might get it right and we may leave to never get it right even when we do the right thing at the right time.
So many times, I wait to tell my unborn child to have a mind of his or her own. I beg to tell him or her that the moment he or she realizes that superman or wonder woman is not coming is the moment she begins to live her life. Maybe I might be wrong for a long time to have told him or her that no matter what happen he or she should always find his or her way to me.
Yes… may be wrong, because my mother once told me that son, one day, if you don’t keep your head; someone is going to break it for you. And so I hid my head so many times under my bed when I felt am wrong and I got so many knocks and broken head more than what I could have gotten even when I might be right or wrong from people. That is an instinct that she develops in me that I should always find my way to my bed no matter climatic condition I find myself.
Then I rest it in my heart to tell him or her that this life is weird and will always kick you in the stomach, real hard and then wait for you to get back on your feet before throwing you another hard punch on your face for you to grow up and be wise. And the knocking out the wind out of you is to tell you how much you lungs cannot do without air.
This gives you a heart of your own, to always forgive and never forget because that is the definition of a real man, and to always have compassion which is the definition of a woman. And in time, always look back for a split seconds and mover on because we are all condemned to time and space.
That life is too short for hatred because we are all condemned to death because everything in life is vanity.
