NEW FACE OF NIGERIAN DANCE

At a time when Nigerian entertainment is fast gaining wild recognition
over the world, dance is also quickly taking its central position to
make a perfect phenomenon.

And now, after a decade of redefinition and revolution in the music
industry, Preere Linda Yibowei also known as ‘PREEYE’ is fast rising
and gaining recognition as Nigerian top dancer. Recruiting her
protégées from the cooperate world to the street, the energetic dancer
from MBGN 2010 to dance and fitness experts on Kokomansion in 2008, to
mention a few, runs her finger print through.

“I stated dancing when I was young. I love dance and it’s all I can die for’.

With a background in Theater Art from the ancient University of
Ibadan, the young female dancer have since gain the world to her fit
and also gathered encomium and accolades from all over the country.
‘It’s not about sticking to the roles set down by d Herbert Ogunde's of their generations, how doesn't focus on the realities of my generation. I am all about keeping it real and up to date and not just downloading from our Foreign Contemporaries because that their own reality anyway’.

The versatile and natural performer, equipped with creativity in all
areas is currently telling the world that her skills are not
comparable. And ready she is to take on any challenge when it comes to
dance.

“Music is life and passion. I have featured in major dancing
competitions in the country and outside the country. Am ready to take
on the world that I dominate and there is no going back on it. That is
standard’.

After emerging as the second place runners up for the maiden edition
of let’s dance Nigeria, a MNET production in 2001, she started NITCHE
entertainment as the Content director and till date has groomed
hundreds on how and what dance is all about.
