This is not the best of times for actor cum producer, Pa Kasumu born Kayode Odumosu.
The actor for a while now has cheated death and all seem not to be ending any time soon. The actor, who will clock 43 years in his acting career on 12, June, 2011 has been battling with a heart, liver and Kidney problems for Four years now and has been on and off the sick bed several times.
The actor spoke to Celebrity World last week at his Mushin office were he unveiled his travails while shuttling between life and death. "I am only living on hope. I have cheated death several times and it is only by the grace of God that I still live". He spilled. "I even hoped that I would have died few months ago but God redeemed me". He continued.
"As at now, you will see people greeting me and asking of my health situation, it is because they all know what I am going through and they have all been supportive because I have spent a lot of money on the sickness. My first son has also been there, so help. I am just grateful to God that I am still alive". He concluded. Further information at our disposal has it that the actor currently shuttles the Lagos State Teaching Hospital for treatments.
It is not sure as to how much the actor has spent on the money consuming sickness which has left him to his own shadow, but he is not on admission presently but visits the hospital on appointments. "Several drugs have been administered and I also go for dialyses from time to time to keep feet and balance. I hope I will not die soon". He says. In a related development, the actor who currently works on his second movie production all his years in the industry suffered a little set back in his career when his office was visited by a bandit of rubbers last weekend.
His office on 264, Agege moto road, Olorunshogo bus stop was burgled into on Sunday July 19, 2011 and several lap tops was taken away by the bandits who operated over night. Other things lost to the incident include rushes that some movie editors were working on.
