BABA D SURIVES AUTO ACCIDENT
Baba D, born Lanre Fasasi last week survived a serious car accident which could have claimed the singers’. A source says the father of two was on him way back from a family function before tragedy struck. “His Cherokee jeep had a right up and was damaged beyond repear”. A family source told us over the weekend. Baba D who is currently battling with his music career was said to have survived the incident by an inch. Our mole says he ran into a gallop un-knowingly very late in the night of Monday August 22, 2011 around FESTAC where he had spent most of his life. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment shortly after the accident. He was shortly discharged since he had major injuries.
“I thank God because that could have been the end. The car ran into a gallop and of it went. I lost count of the number of times it somersaulted because I was almost drifting into a coma but I just find out that I was around after it stopped. The car was damaged beyond repear. I just thank God”. He told our reporter.
Dare Fasasi started his career as an Television presenter with a popular Television station in Lagos, MiTV and later went into music before jetting out of the country to Sweden were he had his masters degree and pursuing his music career. He came back into the country with a brand new album which was marketed by Kennis music but made lass impact. His career nose dived and crashed after then and lately he released a brand new single titled “Gum body”. It’s currently enjoying a massive airplay at the moment all over the country.
He was married to a Swedish woman who had a son for him. He broke up with the woman who has since relocated back to her country and last year, her married a Nigerian and has delivered of a baby girl. He is also currently working on a Naija Ninja movie that will feature his brother also a singer Sound Sultan.
