Top Islamic artiste, Alhaji Dr Abdulkabiru Bukola Alayunde who is popularly known as “Ere Asalatu” is in a very happy mood right now. The bases of that is his recent emergence as the best Islamic singer of the year at the Citypeople entertainment Awards held in Lekki, Lagos few days back.
The fair complexion talented singer won in a very tight category that included two other hot Islamic artistes in the persons of Aminat Ajao (Obirere) and baritone voiced Ahmed Alawuye. And still backing in the euphoria of is selection of the best among the rest, the Oyo born musician who recently released him fourth album titled “Anfani (Benefit)”, has jetted out of the country to London to celebrate his new award. The artiste would be spending his about three weeks in the UK and would also be staging shows for his London fans in appreciation of their support for him over the years before returning back into the country in the first week of September this year. This is indeed the best of times for the Abeokuta, Ogun state based artiste.
