Eminem and Jay-Z will be tag-teaming at baseball stadiums this fall.
Both rappers were at Comerica Park in Detroit on Wednesday for the doubleheader between the Tigers and the New York Yankees and announced that they would be doing two big concerts together: at Comerica on Sept. 2 and at Yankee Stadium on Sept. 13. At this stage in their careers, though, neither star is an opening act, so they were careful in their statement to call the concerts“co-headlining” shows. But Jay-Z clarified the lineup: Eminem will be the headliner in Detroit, his hometown, and Jay-Z will do the same in New York.
Last year, Jay-Z played his hit “Empire State of Mind” at Game 2 of the World Series in Yankee Stadium.
